Ammonites, I know we talked a bit yesterday about the Dinoworld short stories. I was a little unclear on whether you were just looking for ideas, or for more people to contribute stories. You'll have to clarify that for me, but here are some ideas I would like to see take shape.
-Discovery of Dinoworld and the first landing -The formation of the Rangers -Part of the previous story or not, but who are the Falconers -The origins or at least a story about the Riders -Maybe something about the current state of Earth and the rest of the human race, like what do the governments of Earth think of the planet, how did humanity expand to other star systems (this could easily be incorporated into the discovery of Dinoworld story) -The founding of Shafter's Town
Just a few ideas that I had that you might want to consider for some short, or shorter, stories.

I think all those ideas should be covered in the near future. Falconers will be in Dissonance (DOS pt2) and Megabass is working on the origin story for the discovery, Shafter's town, Rangers and the Earth. The Riders I will be doing later since the story has progressed significantly since their original conception.
I want this to be an open world for writers so any contributions would help. If you want to try your hand at writing a short that's great or if you just have a thought that you think might make a good story. Anything is good. Just follow the guidelines:
No other sentient life on Dinoworld. Dinosaurs can be intelligent but not sentient. Alien races can exist in the same universe but never travel to the planet. No lost civilizations. Humans were the first on the world. No magic! This has ruined many series including the Dinotopia tv series and Lost World tv series. Original characters are encouraged but established can be used with original creator's permission. Certain dinosaurs exist only in certain territories. A list is being compiled but is always open to suggestions. All stories have the potential to be canon so long as events do not contradict established timelines.
