The Compsognathus of Dinoworld have a unique and interesting means of growing up. The idea came from the Leopard Gecko. When they hatch, they are usually yellow with black stripes. As they reach maturity, the stripes vanish and are replaced by a spotted pattern. Compsognathus cassidaesRegion: NW Territory, Main Continent Named after Michael Cassidy of the first exploration team, this species often causes more mischief than damage and are known to beck.e infatuated with marshmallows. Their yellow coloration with black spots can sometimes include orange. Compsognathus noctourneFrom the western shores of Gigante in an area called the Forest of Night comes this unique species of Compy. Due to the neverending darkness they have evolves larger eyes to gather in the bioluminescent emissions from various sources in the forest. Their primary color is a deep navy blue with spots covering their body that flouresce green light. This species was unknown until the Dinoworld year 1 ADS when Daniel Rasmussen rode into the Island Territory carrying one as a companion. Compsognathus nievesWith the species name derived from the Spanish word for "snow" these Compys are located on the Northern Continent. Their coloration changes with the seasons, switching from dull brown in the summer to white and grey in the winter. Compsognathus cassidaes. Picture by AllosaurusLover on Jurassic Park Legacy

They are found on each of the continents, each one of them having their own type of breed. Compsognathus in the Forest of Night are navy blue with glowing green spots. Northern Continent Compys would have down feathers and be white with blue spots. Just depends on the continent found but these are one of the only worldwide dinosaurs.

Can't really think of any type that would be on Dispari. We could just have them on Northern, Main Continent and Forest of Night. I want to say Main was once connected to Northern and Forest during the last Ice Age on Dinoworld so the life there would be similar but the mountain range on Gigante was impassable.

They're small enough they wouldn't have to shrink down. I'm going with actual Compsognathus size rather than the JP size so they're about 3 ft. long.

There will be Lowland Mountain Desert Night Jungle Ice and maybe a few others. Pretty much one for each environment. They are still of the same species so they can interbreed but rarely see each other.

We could probably take out the interbreeding thing then since they probably would have evolved without interaction. Interbreeding could possibly happen but the offspring would be sterile such as mules or ligers today. Think that works better?
